Thank YOU! Check out our Highlights from 2017 End of the Year Screening!

On Monday night, 300 of Global Action Project's closest friends, family and community partners, gathered to celebrate our 2017 Youth Producers under the theme "Our Resistance, Our Time, Our Sanctuary." To everyone who came out on Monday or supported G.A.P. over the course of this past year, thank you so much for uplifting the voices of these dynamic, talented and creative LGBTQ and immigrant youth leaders!

The amazing MC’s for the night, Seonae Byeon and Maddox Guerilla, took us on a journey filled with dance and poetry as we premiered five new youth-produced films! Youth Breaking Borders' "Echoes of Iemanja" told the story about a young undocumented Haitian immigrant, who, drowning in the pursuit of her goal, finds ways to stay afloat; SupaFriends' "The C.O.R.E." follows a group of trans and gender nonconforming rebels who come together to resist the dictator Soloman who has seized power and outlawed art and gender expression!; Community Media in Action showcased the work of the Hate Free Zone Coalition in Queens and the demand for justice for the murder of Ramarley Graham.

Please stay tuned for the web release of the films soon and follow us on Facebook and Twitter for more updates!

PS. If you loved this year's films, consider becoming a co-producer by supporting G.A.P. either with a one-time, tax-deductible donation or by becoming a monthly sustainer here.
